I am planning on NYC as it went through Erie. So mostly steam and first gen diesels. Of course on a hcd. Would be nice to meet up with others to motivate each other. Sort of round robin club.

I'm working on my fictional freelanced shortline Allegheny and Lake Erie in the modern era.  There is a significant lack of local clubs or LHS's with much train stuff.  It makes me think there may be a lack of interest in the area or something.

Haha, I know right. But seeing all the people at the train show at rainbow gardens, such as it is, says something different. I think that most here in the area are closet or lone wolfs like I have been.

I like the idea of your short line. Even like the name. How big you looking at going?

Im planning on a hcd to start small but work into something I can expand.

My parents live in Marrienville Pa, and I try to get down there quite a bit to visit. So travel through Warren Pa area quite a bit.

I have been to North East LSRHR since I was 9. Grew up in North East. It has come a long way.

But short of that, I'd like to at least get some under body shots and maybe some basic dimensions I can scale a drawing off of.
