Thanks for writing this up and excellent work. I love these type of articles because the trail has been blazed and I can follow along at home.  Is it possible to make the side/end templates available as a pdf? Thanks

NDa  was a Pennsy bobber cabin car  (caboose)  (ND) than was convert to 2 truck cabin car (caboose) (NDa)

Oh man.

And I'm always amazed at how late these lasted. I've seen pics of them being pulled by diesels in the 50s.

With a wee bit of effort, an assembled Quality Craft N6b can be shortened into a bobber. Only thing missing then would be the little doors in the center of the cupola.
