Is the Digitrax DT402 hand held throttle compatible with the Digitrax Zephyr DCS 50 Command Station ?  Just plug it in and away I go......?

It is.  Just plug it into the Loconet and you're all set.

Page 43 of the DCS51 (Zephyr Xtra) manual talks about it.  It should be the same for the DCS50.  If you have the DCS50 manual then the same information is around page 35 or so.

All Digitrax throttles will work with Zephyr and Zephyr extra. Even wireless. The only Digitrax  throttle that won't work with any loconet system is the (really) old CT4.
