I have been posting about this kit for how many months now? And I am sure there are those of you who want to scream if you see the phrase "sugar beet" one more time, so I promise this is the last thread about the project!

I have finally finished Building #3 of the set and can now offer the entire industry, along with smoke stack! You've seen pics of the original from my layout, but here are some versions of Building #3...

...and the whole complex:

I'll have all these at Amherst in 3 weeks. In the meantime, please order lots and lots!

What happened to the brick options for this kit? I recently looked at the website, and the brick versions seem to be gone?

Wasn't brick the only option?

As can be seen in the photos above, the options were all brick, brick with concrete skeleton, and all concrete, and there were 3 choices of roofing, too...now it seems there is only the all concrete version  :?

No worries! Actually, now that i'm thinking about it, there were other options too, the main building was available in two  versions, one smaller, and one with an addition, which was available separately too. And then there was also building #3, which seems to still be available.....

While I really like the concrete version, it is the brick version that i seek....

Quick explanation. I discontinued the options on the website of siding, roofing, and the modules, but if you still want these I can provide them (for Railwire members  ;)  ). I stopped putting 'texture' on the concrete buildings, which allowed me to greatly reduce the price (I found that concrete paint does just fine). Brick texture takes a lot of time and customization of structures became complicated, thus the change. Putting brick on the main building is $20 extra, and on the auxiliary building, $7. I still sell the brick smoke stacks. I can do any of the three roofing options as well (shingle, corrugate, ribbed). Email me what you want and I can send you an invoice (credit card or PayPal).

David,
My interest is building #3 could you list the dimensions (length + width) and would there be a price increase with standing seam roofing?

Footprint is 9 7/8” x 2 3/8”. Roofing choice does not affect the price.

David, I wonder if you could include a plan-view with footprint of each structure in their as-designed configuration, including their main dimensions (width and depth)?  IIRC, Walthers kits have such drawing on the back of their packaging.  That clearly shows the positioning and dimensions of each structure.  I know that the writeup of each kit on your website does include dimensions, I think a drawing would make things even clearer.

Yes...that's a good idea. Although I may not get to it until after the Amherst and Timonium shows.
