You are very welcome Lennart. I spray over the car with Dullcote after each application of weathering with oils so as to seal each step. Light applications is all that is needed.

OK, I consider myself done!

Here is my prototype.


And here is the finished model.


Rats  :trollface: One wheel has derailed :facepalm: I tried to take new photos, but this is still the best. So this will be the one I submit, unless I make another photo attempt some other day.

Layer one:

While it looks a little heavy I intend to let it dry a bit and then dullcoat which will take it down a couple notches.

Next round is the ends and some rust powder patches on the bottom.

I use water soluble oil paints for my washes and halos. Dry in a couple of days.  I also use dullcote for the flat finish.
