Who do you think will be the first Manufacturer to offer an N scale EMD Tier 4 locomotive? My guess is FVM.

I have avoided buying the newer diesels but I just might have to spring for a couple of these!

I'm sure it will be Kato.  Can't wait, these are appearing in number now on CN on the western lines.

IM will be first to offer it, but it won't be delivered for 3 years.  Kato will be first to deliver it but only in Union Pacific and Demonstrator colors....

Well EMD must deliver to a railroad first for there to be a model, now how about some GE ET44 there are a few of the out already with at least three different RR.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

Hmmmm.  There are examples of models that were made from proposals--- and the prototype was never made.

HO scale:

N scale:

Both models were made from locos drawings.  But the locos were never made as-drawn.

These will be BLMA's first locomotives, and will NOT be offered in HO.

The EMD Tier 4 unit isn't actually for sale yet, you've been seeing the GE ET44ACs.

You are correct.  Now that EMD is done in Canada, I am sure we won't see CN or CP buying from them.

Except for the fact that CN and CP are not North American and not just Canadian. That tells me there is a very good chance they will buy some.

I believe that both CN and CP have bought from EMD since they left Canada.
