More disappointment. I'll try emailing them too - maybe if enough of us email they'll bend an ear.

This is one of the many reasons why @Ed Kapuscinski started our discussion of proper manufacturers photographs.  What's sad is apparently they make 3 bays  with 3 outlets, but just chose to use the wrong car.

Or somebody made a big mistake and they just decided to go with it.

Could these have been made by DV eons ago and just recently made for sale?  They have a 70s-80s Tyco feel to them.

Catt also mentioned this in his earlier post.

Color's wrong and it rides too high.

No, the pad printing is too sharp.

No no no. The tooling is ex-Delaware Valley, but Bowser is the ones that tooled the car for them originally. The tooling is updated. These are newly run, painted and printed.

This topic has derailed in more ways than one. I think it was the topic starting as disappointment and now the whole car is written off. Six bays versus three on a prototype is a problem, but how did we get around to assuming every scheme was a joke?

Even Tyco based their cars on something.

Ok, sounds like we are back on-track again.  :)  I don't think anybody questioned the validity of the model being based on a real prototype - it was the paint schemes that were questioned. At least that is how I was seeing most posts in this thread.  Subjects like the paint schemes being a total fantasy, or real schemes but applied to a car with wrong number of bays.

There's a kernel of truth to this statement.

Now that's just corny.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I picked up two of the Domino cars for fun. They are a little bright, but we will soon tone them down and none of the kids at shows will know or care if they are real of fantasy.
