I think it was destined for operation in PA., or the Valley RR in Essex, CT.

It was New York Susquehanna & Western 141.  To replace the lost engine the line purchased the Valley Railroad engine.  And it was 1989... my how time flies...

Ron,

I think one instance might have been the Intermountain tunnel motors, I recall some good photoshops during that timeframe.

I made one with a tunnel motor as the Loch Ness Monster.

A former MR staffer/IMRC employee was informing us of the  SD40/45T-2 model and the the preputial release date. I quipped that the tunnel motor was mystical thing, like true love, the Lochness Monster.  In response Denver Road Doug posted the photo.  For the record the IMRC shell needs a lot of rework but I am grateful it was made.

I got mine from Hobbysmith in Portland, OR.  I have seen them at Tacoma Trains as well.

Tom

wonder if the guys at the train show didn't want to send all that stuff back to the home office.

What a difference a week makes,  saw 3 at the hobby shop this afternoon.  Waiting for PRR, my budget is shot to pieces after the K4s.

In fact, I remember someone who photoshopped a Bagdad Bob, assuring everyone that the Tunnel Motors are here.  You are surrounded by them.

Funny, the BLW website still doesn't show these in stock - still taking reservations.

Peteski, I got a promotional e-mail from BLW over the weekend, saying they were due in Tuesday, 9/29.
Guess they came in a day early. Yes, I know his site does not list as in stock. I'm thinking mine will show Wednesday?? ;)

Maybe? It depends on where they were being used. I'd rely on photos to be sure.
