Third truck release announced by Trainworx - Fedex, Peterbilts

Figured it was best to start a new thread since people may not realize there was new intel if posted in the current "New Trainworx Trucks" thread.

Federal Express tractors and trailers announced this morning, along with Peterbilt 280 and 350 tractors in multiple non-descript schemes.

I've seen FedEx trailers on some of the hot CSX intermodal trains, usually riding spine cars like the BLMA 53' triple

The trailer with the orange Ex trailer should be after 1994, the rest are all the current FEDEX scheme.

I have some FedEx decals somewhere from long ago.  I decalled 3 40' trailers, one each in FedEx Custom Critical, FedEx Freight, and FedEx Ground.  Hoping to get some undec white versions of these Fed Ex style trucks

Catching a FedEx trailer OFC (new deliveries, repositions etc) was always a bit of a treat, until they started to systematically use intermodal movements for their trailers in 2011 and onto their own containers in late 2013.

Fed Ex Freight was created in 2001 when Fed Ex corp bought Viking Transport and American Freightways.
Fed Ex Ground started up in 2000 when Fed Ex rebranded Roadway Package System (not to be confused with the then spun off Roadway Express).
Fed Ex Multi Modal seems to be a 2010 rebranding of several of their logistics subsidiaries to provide a single point-to-point supply chain akin to Schneider or JB Hunt.

So for me, only the FED-EX orange 53' boxes and day cabs, plus a few of the Petes.
