Walthers is throwing us a bone with the August Announcements. A couple of houses are coming out our way. Click on the link and scroll to the bottom.

I was hoping for something else but these will fit 40's to now.

Pretty cool but those window castings scream 1970s tooling:

There are whole neighborhoods of that house in Baton Rouge - guess I'll Ned a couple or three.

I like that there will be a couple of options to change out parts so you might get a little variety with multiple houses.

I really want the Prairie Co-op they did in HO along with that cinder block office.  Would also like the large grain bin in N.

Looks like the old Bachmann Mr. Rodgers house.

Nice houses but I doubt I will have room for the houses I already have on the new layout let alone room for more. But like my daddy always said "never say never "  :D

That ranch house is a very needed model in N.

I agree. These days I can't see paying $25 for a tiny kit that appears to have been thrown together from old Euro parts.

I clicked the link and was prepared to be underwhelmed...
but..
the ranch house is pretty neat...very 50's-60's suburban (at least in NOLA, my hometown)

Those are actually really great. The ranch house seems super common, and the other one, well, half the town I grew up in was those houses.

+1 on this.  Walthers is missing the boat on so many things N scale that it's hard to believe they're an industry leader.
