Does any one other than Micro Trains make swing motion caboose trucks?  I'm trying to find some without the gaudy generator/alternator stuck on the side of every one.

Atlas, Athearn and MTL all offer swing motion trucks without generators.

I just checked the Micro Trains website and all I can find is their swing motion caboose truck WITH generator.  Ones without are not listed.  Does anyone have the part number for the ones without?

Here's Mark's page:  http://www.spookshow.net/trucks/betcaboose.html

Note you'll want to further refine your selection for either friction or roller bearing.

Micro Trains only makes roller-bearing trucks, but with or without the generator.  Atlas offers both roller-bearing and friction-bearing trucks, with no generators.  Pretty sure that Athearn has only roller-bearing also, and with the generator.  Kato also makes friction-bearing trucks.

The Micro-Trains trucks have an offset bolster hole.  The other brands have a centered hole.

FYI: The Atlas friction bearing swing motion caboose trucks have been out of stock for a while. At least every place I've checked is out.  I did manage to get some from Trainworld in Feb but they are out now as well.

Atlas roller bearing ones are available many places.

With the latest catalog announcement of Trainman ATSF-style, Trainman C&O style and NE6 style cabooses, the friction truck should be back in stock once those products start shipping.

I need the roller bearing version without the generator.  I've sent a note off to MTL.  I'll see what they come back with.

Fox Valley Models has roller bearing caboose trucks.  Hard to find on their website, but easily found on M. B. Klein's website under Fox Valley couplers, trucks, and wheelsets.

Where/how do you people find this stuff?!?  I don't post questions to TRW until I've checked around.  I've scoured both the Fox Valley and the MTL websites and I cannot find any mention of roller bearing non-generator swing motion caboose trucks.   I'm either going blind or the info isn't there.   How frustrating.
