Nope. I went with the vanilla worms. One of these days I'll get something with a red or orange variation, but you know me, I like to model the boring stuff. But why did I want them? Cause of lashups like this. (Attachment Link)
Well that huge gap in the track sure is PCesque!
Didn't they revise the tooling on the GP40 a few years ago? I recently bought some undec shells and the hood detail is outstanding.
If only they would retool the shells for the GP-35's, 30's and 7/9's in the same fashion with the full walkways with nicer handrails. Even just a redo on the sills would be great. Always found it odd they retooled the GP-40/40-2's but not the previously mentioned. The S.
I don't really know why but from the first time I ever saw a black PC loco with the white logo and worms, it has never been boring to me.I guess it looks like ominous power.Doug
I didn't think the GP-40/40-2 were retooled. When was the first version?
I think It's always been this good. After hand painting my pair of Conrail ones, I came to realize that these really are fantastic. Even the diagonal mesh behind the main radiator grills is represented. They really are incredibly well done.I wish the GP38-2s that followed them were as sharp.
