Are there any shops or designers you consider must follow on N scale.

I have a couple like NScaleAddict and ScottWV on my feed list, but who else do you routinely check in on product wise to see what they have developed? Or is anyone doing so?

Depends on what you are interested in.  Passenger car wise there are a couple...

One thing to keep in mind is that Shapeways FXD (Frosted Extreme Detail) is now the "gold standard", providing a considerably higher quality print than what has been able to be done, but some designers are slow (to say the least) to adapt their offerings to provide for it.  For those who are now offering FXD click the small to the right of the one shown under the word "Plastic".

I have lots of shops I follow, too many to list here. I have a new shop as well: www.shapeways.com/shops/willmodels

There aren't many models there yet but I have a lot in the works. It takes time to get it right, as the few people who have tried to buy my Winnebago D-22 have found. Now it's temporarily out of the shop until I get the new samples. Patience.

One thing to bear in mind about ordering the new FXD is a longer print time. In some cases it's taken twice as long as the FUD.

I can add another designer to the list of Passenger cars...

A fella that goes by the handle "mariuszjj" is offering a large number of prints of a wide variety of cars, including business cars, gallery cars and much more.  Much of what he is offering is available in FXD Frosted Extreme Detail so they should look super good once the print is soaked.  Here is the link to his page on Shapeways in case anyone is interested...

Thanks for mentioning Ngineer... there are definitely some items I will have to look at that are designed by him (those traffic lights look great) that I yet may have to go for.  Definitely some great stuff!!!

Awesome!  I just placed my first order a few days ago, but it hadn't gone to printing yet so I was able to cancel it and re-place it and save $5.   Thanks!
