I emailed Mr. Williamson recently and he said future releases will include the AC6000 and then just about everything they have in HO. Just a quick email with no timetables, but the specific mention of the AC6000 makes me think it will be done soon. Not that I care for it, but I know there is interest out there.

HO I1, L1, H10, T1, J1, GS4, New Haven Hudson, the J, Niagra, MT73, TTT, T&P 2-10-4, UP 4-12-2, Bigboy, S2, They can crank out a non stop wave to road specific HO steam, but getting 1 damn N steamer takes 10 years and counting

We need to encourage the SPF's to buy, buy, buy those M1s!!!!   

Sell your house, car - just buy them - you need every number!!!!   

Then we get the AC6000!!!

I'm hoping the M1 is a truly successful experience for them such that they start producing other N scale steam.  However, since they haven't announced any follow-on steam, anything in the pipeline must either be a closely-guarded secret or very far down the road.

I think it's better that they first learn to make an N-scale steamer before they develop another steamer.

I am thinking it is likely to do well in N.

I can live with the plummeting values of the brass ones I have...

the m1 will be a problem for me no matter what,
as I do not think I want the sound  and that will make me resentful of the model.
.... well, at least I know why.

I also am pretty sure I'll get one, when they show up.

The people at BLI have been successful at making HO steamers.

to reinforce your comment, about them learning to make n-scale steam engines,
It does appear to be a difficult hurdle.
the past performance of such companies has been astonishment
that the n-scale version was found to be wanting.
athern, intermountain, model power, and walthers all missed the mark by various margins.

So While I expect the new M1 will be good looking, I will be pleasantly surprised
if I do not have to re-work the pick-ups.

If BLI is quick witted and willing to listen, the second one they make will be very good.

Unfortunately if you look at the Delivery Schedule page, nearly everything is "Yes" to "Still Accepting Orders", even stuff that's been delivered months ago.  So I doubt that's a good criteria about production.

It just has to be accepted that it will get here when it gets here.  I just like to keep in touch for budget planing purposes.

As much as the HO PRR H10 was a success for BLI, I doubt they'll release it in N-scale if the speakers they use require large tenders.  I could see BLI doing PRR I1's and J1's however.  I think a 2-10-4 could be a home run, since they could use this for other RR's and re-coup the engineering and tooling costs for the chassis.  The N-scale brass PRR J1's that show up on eBay sell for $800+

Bachmann could be an option for an N-scale PRR H10, except they haven't done this in HO AFAIK, so it is highly unlikely they would do this in N-scale any time soon.

I have 2 M1b's on reserve and will probably get 2 or 3 K4's, but I need to sell some (maybe a lot) of stuff soon.

Even though I'm an SPF who loves steam, I don't need or want an M1. I try I keep my focus on things that worked the South Jersey area, so: H, K, E, B, and a few L1s and A5s.
