Just to avoid any further confusion, and due the significance to some modelers, here is the link (this was buried in the ACS-64 announcement thread):

http://www.katousa.com/N/Amfleet/index.html

Hopefully they will do all schemes starting with Amtrak phase 1.

This means the inside bearing trucks will be available again.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Did any of you notice that the page with the Amfleets has the ACS's #601 but the page listing the ACS set had #621 with the same part #s?
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

I wish that they would fix the wheel-face inserts on those Amfleet trucks - the one they use is totally wrong (the wheel profile). Even Bachmann's version (the latest one) has a wheel face with a shape which closer resembles the 1:1 wheels.  :|

I contacted Kato USA about this but they said I was the only person they have heard complain about those.  To me those stand out like a sore thumb!  I was even thinking on casting my own wheel faces out of resin but I have so many things on my plate...

They changed the number due to the accident.

You can always make your own from my 3D prints. Cafe and coach in either sliding or dutch doors.

I'm very surprised that Kato has yet to tool these cars up considering they are such a mainstay on many of short to mid distance Amtrak trains.   I know many of the Lincoln service trains I model run these cars and you'll often find them mixed with the Amfleet variations.

Now, the last major hole in the roster for Amtrak coaches are the Horizons.
Thank you,

Alexander;
Your prints look great. I have built one from another model and it was difficult. It helps that yours comes with a window set. I had to use the Microscale stuff for each window. Also, being the red, white and blue stripes go over each window, it was a pain to decal, so much so that I'll never do it again. If I ever did one I would paint each stripe, which doesn't sound too easy either. I'm to the point where I'm waiting for a factory ready version. Plus I think Kato will have to release these eventually.
