Yeah pretty much, CSX does not have any locos that look like that even if CSX did heritage units, two of the biggest visible giveaways are the handrails and DB vents. Then again the NS heritage gevos are foobs as well for the same reason and they sold well.

Is it safe to assume fobbie is the same as foobie?   ;)

They aren't missing them, they're in future releases.

Clearly these heritage units sell.  I'm all for it.

Hope they don't forget the Lexington and Ohio or the Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick.   It doesn't say if they're 2-rail or 3-rail.  :)

I'm actually a fan too. I think these units are a blessing for freelance folks who might like to re engineer history for a what if scenario. What if the ACL was still around? What if NYC remained profitable and didn't merge with that other 4 track railroad?

I plan to add a couple to my roster to use as power on trains from eastern parts of the unmodeled system to help locate the traffic. I can see a selected CSX heritage or NS heritage unit in front of my V&O and AM units to sell the reality of those roads in my alternate railroad universe.

Much easier to buy a heritage unit than try to custom paint one myself.

Now if only Fox can get permission to do a version of Utah Belt power or Utah Colorado & Western engines too.

Eric respectfully declined to allow the Utah Belt likeness to be used... too bad, as a couple engines and a string of UB RD-4's would have been really cool...

The SCL unit should be black, or change SCL to the more proper and better looking Seaboard name. SCL did re-stencil some of the unit in that scheme after the merger but it just does not look right

Its pretty dam hysterical  that anyone is pissed about a manufacture making anything. Not making something I can at least see where there is disappointment but this ... really...

Exactly. Don't like it, don't buy it. Does it really hurt "us" if a manufacturer makes something we don't want? If anything praise NSE for giving FVM more fun coupons ($$$) for the next project that "you" might want!

Foob or not, I like these.  Besides, I alredy know of a few modelers who have already custom painted some modern locos in pre CSX paint.  And, WHERE are the B&O and C&O units, the backbone of CSX.

What the heck is that PRR nonsense? Broad stripe and no shadow keystone? Ugh.
