Joe, another runner pack idea...

Joe, have you thought about doing lease trailers in 4 or 5 packs? All these Trainworx, BLMA and Atlas TOFC cars won't fill themselves you know.

While Trainworx has some great 70's era trailers, and Atlas has the very nice Pines, the MTL Fruehauf were very common right into the early 2000's. Here are some ideas:

Availco "Prefered 45 and Prefered 102" 45'
Tip Intermodal 45'
Tip Lease 48'
Transamerica 45' "medium T"
Transamerica 45' "big T"
Transamerica 48' Pyramid
Transamerica 48' Simplified
Redon 48'
Xtra Lease 45' and 48'
Xtra Intermodal 45' and 48'
Xtra yellow/red vertical logo
Xtra blue underline
JB Hunt 48' yellowtail
JB Hunt 48' whitetail
Schneider orange thin logo 48'
Schneider National white 48'
Schneider National orange 48'

White 48' with reflective stripes (makes decaling easy and would also fill in a generic box vans on the layout)

Yup. That'd be awesome if they were good for the mid 80s, too.

Yep.

Then I hereby hijack this thread so that you all can post pics of what Pines trailers (or 45’ trailers for that matter) that you want to see…

Oh, this is too good to be true.  Hijack away!

Start with this (to make it easy on you, Cory, Atlas already did this in O scale):

Thanks,

Cory, I got a response from MTL as well, if we post photos, can you coordinate with them so there is no overlap?

It is amazing how well (and quickly) manufacturers respond to certain model suggestions coming from online forums.  Gotta love it!  This wouldn't be happening 15 years ago.

Yeah, I kind of was a bit surprised too. I think it's probably a product they sell a lot of and was in the back of their minds anyway.

I guess this is as good a place as any for my monthly plea: 53' trailers please!
