FVM 36" wheels for MTL passenger trucks?

Was about to order a pack of these, but noticed the BLW page says they do not fit MTL passenger trucks, but I have a couple 36" wheels in their baggage car, they roll fine.  :?

What metal .540" axle wheels fit MTL cars?

They certainly do fit the new heavyweight trucks.

I'm guessing they meant the old Kadee/Micro-Trains trucks that came with 33" wheels.

They don't fit the old Atlas/RR replacement trucks. The 36" wheel hits the brake hardware on the trucks. The new trucks are just fine.
