Edd. Here is the app to get your RR name on your throttle. This came via Brendan who did mine and the rest of our group.

Ed,
the UP5's really depends on how many throttles will be plugged in to them at any one time. UP5's don't draw power at all from loconet. They are just jacks. Throttles that are plugged in to them draw power. Throttles with good batteries installed draw less to no power when plugged in  Wireless receivers and transmitters should have their own power supply. PS14 is what Digitrax says to use. PS12 will work for UR90 and UR91. Back in 2008 at Louisville, the UR92's were running with PS12's too. I had one hanging on my skyboard. (PS14 didn't exist at the time)

Cool. I think, with a max of about 4 throttles involved total, I probably won't need much power.

I'll see how it goes as the layout scales.

In the meantime, I've also plugged the UR92 in, in the center of the layout, and powered it up. It works great so far, so we'll see how that lasts as things grow.

Thanks again, everyone, for the help. I feel like I'm on solid footing now for future growth. I'll be writing the plan up on my website when I get a few minutes to rub together.
