Intriguing. It also looks as if it could solve a couple of project challenges on my platter. Hmmmm.

You could go with a wireless mouse and keyboard, but since Win 8 works well with touch screens it would be a blast to dispatch on a large touch screen. I know there must be a ton of applications for model railroading.  I like the plug and play aspect on it.

Or you could get a cheap tablet and use JMRI's web server.

Only problem being that's Windows 8.  That turned out to be a bigger turkey than Windows Vista.  Microsoft itself is trying to bury the evidence.
