Seriously.  This is a single-window coach.  We really could use this.  Although a bit late to match your Civil War stuff it might still fit in to your current offerings.

Would definitely be up for some wooden passenger cars... either the era Dave is asking for or later prototypes with six wheel trucks and closed vestibules...

Shipsure frst post:  So, looking for suggestions for three more cars including the Single Window Coach...one I am pressing for is a Coach Baggage combine...so maybe only one suggestion  :D

Ok, I deserve a  - I was fixated on the thread's subject line (and on the elusive model of that car).

1920s / 1930s wood sided heavyweights.  My ideal Holy Grail car would be this:

But here's one more in line with what you are looking for and something like this would be great:

delicate dance when it comes to cycle times.  The mold is temperature controlled with heating elements and water injection and it would be difficult to let it cool down long enough for things to "set" and then heat it back up.  Once you get everything just right, you sorta have to leave it there...even the amount of time the hot half and the "cool" half are separated have much to do with the cycle times.  You also have shrink...as it cools which could play havoc with your ejectors or even stress the plastic.  By using multiple injection points, sometimes you can control the density of the shot as it flows into the cavity.   We have a program that shows graphically how the plastic will flow through the mold as it's injected at different pressures and temperatures.   Neat to watch.  We will figure out something to make it happen

Joe

Bingo!  Now that's CAD simulation at its finest!  we have a similar tool for watching a sheet metal blank stamping through each 0.5mm of die travel, streeses, thinning and bunching of metal become visually evident, even up to materials approaching 3/8" thick!

Do you use cooling passages to set the "skin" as it enters certain areas of the mold?

A coach/baggage combine gets my vote. The perfect branchline passenger train! Oops! One or two windowed?

Followed by some 'Betterment' cars.....

And some heavyweights in Wabash blue too please.

If you are going to do a single window coach, and a coach baggage combine, how about- http://rr-fallenflags.org/ln/ln-cb1603ags.jpg (I mean, as long as you are going to all the trouble to develop the tooling for single windows....)

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

If they already have tooling cut for a single window coach, don't y'all think they've picked that prototype already?   :ashat:  ;)

I like the solarium-style observation coach/lounge idea.  A modernized coach would be nice too, with the modernized roof available separately to retrofit other cars.  Oh, and the NP fish car (hey, you're doing equestrian stuff, how about a shout out to our gilled friends?)

I also vote for a Solarium or another sleeper like an 6-3, 8-1-2, or 14 section. The more Pullman the better! Or a P70, that would be cool to.
