On the way back home from college for Spring Break I took a photo of the old coal pier in Staunton, Va:

And on the other side of it, I stumbled onto the Shenandoah Valley Railroad's engine facility:

Sorry for the blurry pics, it was raining and I did not expect this behind the coal pier!

Here are shots of Mitch Legg's SD80s custom painted by Brian Kuhn - we'll be following this train around the sub for the next couple weeks...First shot is leaving Oakville:

Hey! That RS11 is the former Maine Coast RR "City of Rockland" still in her colors that ran on the former Maine Central Rockland branch. I believe she was a former Central Vermont unit. I saw her quite often in the small yard in Rockland, ME. Highball Graphics makes decals for it.

No modelling for me this week.  Just studying.  But I did start a thread in the Engineering section showing the construction of my room and describing my future plans. I'm almost done the room and so have been thinking about how everything will fit.  It's not in there yet but soon I will post a basic layout of my design and at that time any input would be appreciated, and considered.

I see a cell tower, glad I got none that are on water towers...got plenty of other "stealth" structures however.

Very nice!!!  :)

Would you consider doing the one-of-a-kind cafe coach #7000 with full skirts and the full diaphragm?  :D

Installing N scale joint bars after weathering some track and ties.   A bit obsessive maybe, but at least I will know they are there.

Great idea.  Did you scribe the lines before, or after covering in joint compound?

Got some work done on the club layout this week.

First we have a small bar with a parking lot and and underground parking lot entrance for the hospital.

The church now has a cemetery. Still need to install the fence.

Apartment building now has its place and a parking lot. The building itself needs some work but that is for another day.

One of the office towers has a small park for its day care.

I also finished up a weathering job that i started 4 or 5 years ago. They are well used.
