A trio of EMD F3s roll down the Avenue with a train of empty reefer cars on a sunny day in the mid 1950s. This shot was taken on my "Oakland Industrial" layout, seen in the Layout Engineering thread.

Heading to Timonium on Saturday, looking to pick up anything I could use for my Hanover Sub .  Spending some time with my son, though the only reason he likes to go along is to find the vendor display of Lego sets for sale in a 3.5 acre building.

Right up until "Sputnik" came crashing down on my head (aka: our GMD-1 problems ) I was dabbling in some light weathering...

A Frisco car I painted and decaled a few years ago.... I think the grey ones were beer service for AB....

Another Prairie Shadows gondola.... making the Action Red world better by dirtying it...one car at a time.....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Miles, that is a nice shot, love the street surfaces....  The setting makes the Black Widows downright pristine...
Nice work!

I've been working on street markings this evening with my new RXR stencil.

This section will be weathered similar to the road section at far left in the picture.  More detail on this project can be found over on my Seaboard Central 2.0 thread in the Layout Engineering Reports forum.

Picked up a really badly painted grain elevator that wasn't fully put together so i have started to repaint and finish it.

Also spent a little time weathering an auto rack with the airbrush. I am a little rusty but not bad.

The Nash Metropolitan & Rambler were bought on eBay from a dealer in Hong Kong. They were surprisingly affordable too. They're the perfect *little* cars for the layout too. Just search for "1/87 Nash" and you should get it.

Jeff: I don't know what that elevator looked like before you started reworking it, but the color now looks pretty good to me.
