Indeed.
Another friend who is new to this forum just ordered 2 of the TCZ kits from you for me to build up - anxious to get them!  He's also ready for the Wabash version when it comes up.

Did I read on here that Mr. Skibbe also has plans for the respective baggage lounge cars for TCZ and the BB?

They were shipped to you today.

I will be doing the TCZ baggage lounge car. No plans for the BB car from either of us though.

I did get an answer from Micro-Scale decals on the pre-war pool CB&Q and that they do intend to rerun them but could not give me an ETA.

I would suggest emailing them.

Bill have you ever thought about or tired to work with them on any of your releases.  With the number of Q cars you have done and are doing maybe it would inspire them to produce some quicker!

Brian,

Hope you wrote them about the Post-War set and not the pre-war set as stated in your post.

No, I haven't contacted Microscale. Emailing them and some patience seems to work out. It's almost funny how they run out of the exact set needed whenever I release a new casting.

My bad, you are correct.  They have plenty of pre-war sets available. I requested the post war set by number!

Until Microscale reprints 60-1184 Post-War Zephyr cars, it's possible to use 60-1159 Pre-War Zephyr cars to letter the TCZ Dome-Obs. The Pre-War set has the "Burlington" lettering for the letterboard. Silver View or Silver Vista can be pieced together from the other car names on the set. The only thing missing is the TCZ tail sign. However these cars also used a Burlington Route tail sign for a period of time and that is available on the Pre-War set.

I ordered rock island decals to get the vista lettering in one word.

Greetings all,

I haven't heard anything about Wabash 1601 for a bit.  Any news on the progress?

I was looking at Branson, Missouri pictures and also noted the similarity between these cars and the CB&Q squared end observation car Silver Terrace or was it Silver Garden.   I can't remember right now which it was and I don't have access to my pictures at this minute.

Thank you,
Bob L.

Would also love to see mid-train domes Silver Garden and Patio done, along with Silver Tower and Silver Terrace.

They operate weekly in Branson on the "Ozark Zephyr".
