My ChuckPak of H30s just hit the mail today...I'm downright giddy!  This weekend I'm taking a break from the Colorado Midland to make track repairs to the PRR Middle Division in anticipation of my H30s and the eventual BLI M1s.

I picked up my six-pack of PRR SK H30's at Skipgear's shop Friday.  BLI is still saying May for the M1a's so I have more time to save my pennies for them.  Of course, the H32's are still scheduled for February so that's not far off either.

B&O red looks good.

But CSX fans want to see Chessie photos.

I'm not sure how many - if any- CSX actually ever ran.
Most if not all were in dead lines in 1986 at the merger.

But hey!  CSX owned them, so I can too!

Sorry, didn't buy any Chessie's. They look equally as good though.

Dang.

That is beautiful

I love the marker lights.
Would be cool to light them up with fiber optics.

National Capital Trains had two of the yellow Chessie and one of the red mid-1950s-early 1960s B&O as of 1600 Sunday at Springfield.  Tex'N'Rails had one yellow Chessie and three blue B&O as of the same time/date.  Both said that the red B&O 1940s-mid-1950s vanished before they could get them onto the table.  Tex'N'Rails said the same about the mid-1950s-early 1960s version.  NCT said that the latter were popular, but the original scheme was by far the most popular.   According to the man at the FVM table, only those two vendors had them at Springfield.  As of this posting, they are not at MBK, but they may have sold out before they even arrive.

The Wheels of Time B&O baggage cars also vahished quickly.  I managed to get #465 and #466 from BLW, but #464 was gone from everywhere.

This proves the old saw that "All modellers and rail fans have TWO favourite roads, the B&O and one other".
