Hi all,

Meanwhile we can present to you a new 3D printed product in Strong & Flexible material.

Flexible split-face masonry

The natural stone walls are printed in flexible WSF material. This allows you to bend the walls in any desired curve. The height of the wall is 14 mm.
Two different kits are available:

N3101 (length: 195 mm)

N3601 (total length: 585 mm)

All products are unpainted kits that can be ordered at Shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

Please note: All models in Strong & Flexible plastic (WSF, BSF) are on sale this week. Use promo code SFONSALE at checkout when you order our products designs in Strong & Flexible to save 20%. This sale starts on Monday June 13 and ends Sunday June 19.
This action is not limited to RAILNSCALE, but applicable for all Strong & Flexible products offered at Shapeways. The good bit is that the promo code can be used three times per customer with a maximum discount of $150 USD per order.

Kind regards,
Maurice & Joris

Create your own scenery – and save 20%

RAILNSCALE offers a wide range of unique products that allows you to create your specific layout. You’ve probably seen the pavement rollers. With these rollers you can make all sorts of roads. You can even embed tramway rails into the pavements.
Recently we have introduced flexible scenery construction elements. With these products you can create natural stone walls, road sides and platform edges. As these elements are printed in flexible material, you can bend them in any shape you like. So say good-bye to straight prefab streets!
So if you’re planning to make a new layout check out these products: https://railnscale.com/scenery-construction/
Please note that all models in Strong & Flexible plastic (WSF, BSF) are on sale this week. Use code SFONSALE at checkout when you order our products designs in Strong & Flexible to save 20%. But be quick. This action ends Sunday June 19.

Hi there,

NEW: Vespa 125
The first Vespa was shown to the public in 1946. The displayed Vespa 125 was introduced in 1958 and was the first Vespa with a body which was made by the conjunction of two sheet metal halves. This classic Vespa was produced until 1991.

N2121 - 4x Vespa 125

N2621 - 8x Vespa 125

The kits include two drivers. Models are delivered unpainted and can be ordered via Shapeways only: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale
Before painting, the model needs to be cleaned.

Kind regards,
Maurice

Hi,

RAILNSCALE has introduced the following novelties:

Linde Güldner Hubtrac H3K (Era III-IV)
The Hubtrac H3K (1959-1969) was the first forklift with hydro-static drive which transmits power via closed oil circulation and the oil pressure distributes the power evenly and directly to the motors of the drive wheels. With this driveline the differential, clutch, gearbox and brakes are superfluous which saves extensive maintenance.
In this model the fork can be mounted on two different levels. The following kits are available:
N2150 - Linde Güldner Hubtrac H3K with driver

N2151 - Linde Güldner Hubtrac H3K

N2650 - SET 2x Linde Güldner Hubtrac H3K + 1 driver

Club-of-Four Lorries (Era IV)
The Club-of-Four was an alliance of four European truck manufacturers (DAF, Magirus-Deutz, Saviem, and Volvo). This alliance was founded to develop a shared range of light trucks. From 1975 onward the following models were available: DAF 900/1100/1300, Magirus-Deutz MK, Saviem J, and Volvo F4/F6. The kit is delivered with the four different grilles. This allows you to choose your favorite brand.
Number six in the row is available now, and is particulary suitable for little industrial layouts.
N2266 – Club-of-Four Lorry

N3064 - 4x EUR pallets with paint buckets (Era IV-VI)
The paint buckets are stacked and fit exactly on the supplied pallets.

N3068 - Kiosk «Belle Époque» (Era I-III)
A kiosk is common in stations and squares. The original model was standing in Paris. The kiosk can be used on displays from era I. The kiosk consists of two unpainted parts. This allows proper painting the kit and possibly modification of the kit.

All kits are unpainted. The kits are available via Shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

Hi,

NEW: Bricklayer

With the ‘Bricklayer’ you can make natural stone walls in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Because the Bricklayer is a stamp you can make walls that will fit perfectly in your layout. Say goodbye to the straight prefab walls and nasty split lines. This tool works best with Darwi Classic® or DAS® modelling paste. In the instructions you can see how the Bricklayer works. The geometry of this tool matches that of the flexible split-face masonry.

The Bricklayer can be ordered via Shapeways only: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

Best regards,
Maurice

Hi,

Our latest kit is the Ford Model T Touring Car (1912-1914)

Well everyone knows Tin Lizzie of course. Ford Model T was the worlds first affordable car. Production started in 1908 and gradually the production increased. By 1927 over 15 million Model T’s were built. The displayed Model T is an earlier model that was produced with minor modifications between 1912 and 1914. Earlier models have a straight bonnet, many brass details and a straight wooden dashboard. The Touring Car was the most popular body style.
The Ford Model T was produced in many locations in USA but also in Great-Britain and Canada.

Six different kits are available:

N2057 - Ford Model T Touring Car - opened roof (LHD 1/160)

U2057 - Ford Model T Touring Car - opened roof (RHD 1/148)

N2058 - Ford Model T Touring Car - closed roof (LHD 1/160)

U2058 - Ford Model T Touring Car - closed roof (RHD 1/148)

N2557 - SET 2x Ford Model T (LHD 1/160)

U2557 - SET 2x Ford Model T (RHD 1/148)

All kits are unpainted 3D printed models that can be purchased via Shapeways only: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

I would love your brick stuff in standard PRR cut store (as opposed to the random pattern you're doing).

I would also like to see Boston & Albany/NYC 4'x2' cut stone pattern used all over the area here. I could give you detailed photos and measurements.

Hello Daniel, hello Ed,

OK. Well, it would help if you can provide some photos and dimensions. Maybe I can make some sort of stamp.

Many thanks,
Maurice
