Wanted to mention: I'm using the DAS clay and roller option for all of the paving in York on my layout. It's a joy to work with. Thank you for turning me onto it.

I have a thought about rollers though. Would it make sense to make the "head" of the cutting bit shaped a little differently, to make it displace material a little easier/better? Like, make it pointed or rounded or something like that.

Hi Ed,

Thanks. It is good to see that the rollers work nicely. Could you maybe post some photos of your layout? It is always nice to see some results.
I'm not sure whether I understand your suggestion correctly.

Regards,
Maurice

Hi,

Coconut fat wagons C. Bolle A.G. (Era II)
In 1927, wagons with removable coconut fat tanks were built for the first time. The dairy C. Bolle A.G. Berlin had such wagons. The tanks rest on casters. Over ten such wagons have been in circulation.
The model consists of unpainted parts which can be mounted on a chassis of Mafen (Art. No. 149.05, 149.07, 149.09, or similar).

The following kits are available:
N1010 - Coconut fat wagon

N1510 - SET 2x Coconut fat wagon

Decals are available in .svg-format.

We made a little video of this novelty: https://youtu.be/d8Qx0pmICDI

Hi,

New: 8x Steam engine crew
With a train driver and fireman, a steamer certainly looks much more lively. The locomotive staff fits in almost every tank locomotive. This kit (N3956) contains eight different motivated characters who would like to set your locomotive in motion. Models are delivered unpainted.

Hi,

Simca Aronde 1300 (Era III)

The Simca Aronde was the first independent development of Simca. The Aronde was a popular vehicle. Partly because of this, Simca became the second largest French car manufacturer in the 1950s. The kit is a replica of the Simca Aronde 1300 from the years 1955-’58. The model consists of two unpainted parts.

Available are:
N2127 - Simca Aronde 1300

N2627 - SET 2x Simca Aronde 1300

More information: https://railnscale.com/2018/01/12/simca-aronde-1300/

Hi,

This time we present to you our second version of the Basel Tramway for narrow Nm-Gauge.

About the tram
This tram is a replica of the Basel tramway (Nr 22″-55″). The railcar dates from 1898. The motor car was put on the rails in 1898. In the 1930s, the cars underwent one last major conversion. After the entrance doors had already been moved against the car body earlier, scissor pantographs and more powerful engines were used. The wheelbase was increased again to 2.6 meters. The motorcars found use on typical city lines until the end of the 1960s. As their example these trams are designed for narrow gauge tracks (6.5 mm Nm).
The kits are unpainted and are supplied without and pantograph chassis. The couplings are functional.
The Busch Feldbahnwagen driveline Nr. 12199 fits without modification. Pantographs of the company Tomix (Nr. 0238) fit perfectly. Busch H0f tracks are recommended.

Available are:
N1103 - Motor coach Ce2/2 (Nm 1:160)

N1603 - SET 2x Motor coach Ce2/2 (Nm 1:160)

We made a little video showing how the tram runs. Without modification of the Busch-unit the tram runs at a very realistic velocity of 22 km/h or almost 14 mph. In reality these trams were driving at 12 to 16 mph. Because the drive line and the Busch tracks are equipped with a magnet the electrical contact is good.
