So what's the deal on Atlas GP9 TTs?

Heard a rumor they had been shipped, saw on the Atlas site they arrived in the US in Sept and were supposedly shipped to dealers on Oct 29. Anybody seen any of these new Geeps?

Several Canadian stores in Ontario have them on the shelf as of December 02.

I got my two Soo Line Geeps almost a month ago.  They're all over ebay.

I received mine right before Trainfest.  The printing is super sharp on the Soo Line units.  The maroon is way off from the previous run of maroon and gold units.  They went more brown, which is accurate for some Soo Line units, but not the particular road numbers they ran.  It's an irritation, but I'll live with it, as the two I have will likely run together with a red and white unit at some point, or an IM F7.

I guess the only GP9 TT not available yet is the ones I'm waiting for -- the GN EB scheme w/ DCC. Or have they been cancelled?

You may have to write Atlas about that.  Nothing on their web site indicates they were cancelled. Unfortunately, they don't keep a history of the container reports to see if the stock was limited or not.  The BLW listing says "Sold Out" but also says the DCC version was not released yet.

Probably not on the dock, but all shipments that are coming from Asia have some delay.  We actually bring some of our stuff across the Atlantic, and even the east coast ports are having delays.

The container is due in next week.  Hopefully not too much more patience.

Another thing contributing to the delays is the container companies sold off their chassis business to leasing companies, and it adds another step in the process of the truckers getting the containers in and out of the ports.  Nothing like make a process less efficient.
