Winter time Projects

Aside from working on my two N scale layouts and a small Z scale layout I have a huge backlog of vehicles in Z,N, and HO to work on.I still have 4 resin vehicles to build from our own master of resin casting ,actually I should say our master resin casters since I have vehicles from both and plan to get more from both..
I have enough Showcase Minatures projects to last me a couple months.
Also more than a few HO vehicles that need restoration.
Ok, those are my winter plans ,how about yours?

I've got a layout to finish for an exhibition in March. 3 locomotives and 12+ cars to finish by then as well. Just finishing another engine built on commission and another for him to follow. A sixth locomotive to finish in time for the same exhibition.
I'd like to do some N scale in there as well, got two RPOs to finish, a half finished scratchbuilt caboose, and then if I have time and money there's a 4-4-0 to scratchbuild as well.

I don't even know where to begin - I have that many pending projects (some over 15 years old)! Even if I retired now, I probably have enough projects to last me lifetime (or until my vision or dexterity goes)! At least I will never be bored.

After moving at the end of August, I'm finally getting rolling on the new layout. Getting the main peninsula (17 feet long: A/D and class yard on one side, industrial area on the other) substantially up and running is this winter's goal. Plan is to host a limited ops session in March.

Here is another case when Miss Dee and myself have something in common. We don't make plans, we just take life as it comes. That way, we are really happy when something gets done, and we aren't disappointed when something else doesn't.

Have to get the 13x21 layout operational. The track is down and have to get the last couple of sections powered up and then get the dcc system working. The FEFs arrived yesterday so I now have the incentive to get cracking after taking the last 8 months off from the layout.

Trees, trees, and more trees. The bane of modeling Appalachia.....
One of these days I might actually run some trains.

Starting a new layout. See:

Also working on some detail projects, and especially I have a laundry list of decal/re-decal/renumber projects on my list.
