got your attention?   :P

It's been months now since my last 3d project, so I thought I would do something fun.  I am about 80% there, and here are some renderings from Shapeways to show what it will look like.  I am also dusting off my blog, so check out the latest activity there if you get bored.

LOoks cool but I'd take the Chevy badge off the front.  Don't want some corporate laser type trying to take you for all your worth.

Nice, I'll do a few of those up for sure.  A modern Ford would be a great project too.  Can't have too many pick-ups around railroads.

Certainly
a foreground model. As a foreground item it would be helpful if the grille, bumpers or other trim were seperate castings so it was easy to apply Allclad on the 'chrome' without extensive masking.

If a GENSET arrived tomorrow it would be hard to resist going ultra modern...

Looks great John! I know you don't care much for interiors or glazing but some of us will want to give it a go. My only concern is the way you have the dash at the bottom of the windshield opening, it's going to be next to impossible to put a windshield in there--especially if one tries to use the liquid stuff.

What are we looking at price-wise, or is it too soon?

Lovely! im sure it could pass for the 2010+ Silverado on some layouts... I might have to buy a few also.
now we just need some 2010+ Camaro's!!!  :D
(or like the entire Chevy line up  ;)  and I could use a 98 two door cavalier.... )

@HuskerN I've tried contacting you via PM - did you correct the height on the UPS trailer you made?

I'd like to know before I ordered a few (dozen).  :scared:
