MT 2014 Christmas Cars not Dated?

I have been collecting MT Christmas cars for my wife's Christmas Train since 1991 (when we were married). I also started our niece with her set starting with the year she was born, 2008. I was all set to get them both one this year when I noticed that neither set of MT Christmas cars appears to have the year on them.???????? I had to cancel my order with my LHS and reorder the FVM cars as they do have a year on them.  I wonder why MT decided not to put the year on any of the Christmas cars this year? I thought Joe had said they would have the year on them.

Me THINKS upon viewing the other side of the car as shown on eBay , the stamp on the postcard has 2014 printed on it .

I was looking for a large "rolling my eyes" emoticon, but hey, this stuff is obviously important to some collectors. 

Another possibility could have been that it was a misprint, which would make it rare and highly collectible oddity.

Thanks Richie, if you look closely at the stamp however you will see that it just has the month on the stamp not the year.  And yes, it is a big deal to my wife and niece who both want a car for each year with the year on it to celebrate each Christmas we have been together.

Correction, the Stamp Does have the year on it., the cancellation does not.  I'd swear the Oct car I looked did not have the year. Good catch!

Kevin, maybe you really had a rare misprint with no date - a car Micro-Trains collectors pay hundreds of dollars for.
