Well, the upshot is that now Atlas will announce them next month.

Upper deck Alaska highway grade crossing,


Lower deck approach down to the Fort Nelson River,


View of both decks..


Back to tracklaying now that this operation is out of the way.

That model would pass as a pre-production sample IN an Atlas announcement! EXCELLENT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice backdrops Andy and it was good to see you at Grant's Eastman's Southern Alberta Rail session last Sunday

Speaking of which, here is a video shot along the western-most end (I think) of Grant's stunning SAR...  Heavy head, mid and rear of train power, long trains, major grades and secondary mainline running.  very very cool.

Those backdrops look very good Andy.  I remember that crossing of the Alaska Highway quite vividly- I'm looking forward to seeing your rendition of that scene.  The SAR layout is remarkable as well although I think it would have been better to have the operators aware it was being recorded!

For me, it was a week of tuning turnouts and couplers as each run of a train revealed minor problems.  Nothing a file or some shimming could not solve.  Here is train 101 crossing at Cisco.

My parents are in town, and my dad and I got a couple of days to work on the layout. We got the helix bench work cut and installed. Now it's time to start on track.
