Questions about era for the red ones:

The one that has simply B&O and the Thirteen Great States herald is late 1940s?

That with BALTIMORE AND OHIO spelled out and the simplified herald is late 1950s?

According to the announcement PDF I downloaded and saved

BALTIMORE AND OHIO spelled out with the simplified herald 1941-1945
B&O and 'Thirteen Great States' herald 1955-1962
Blue 'Pool Service' scheme 1965-1969
Chessie 1973 - 1983+

But, I am assuming that the date for the BALTIMORE AND OHIO scheme should be 1941-1955 instead of 1945.....

Any reason why I shouldn't get a couple to get repainted and stick on GDRMCo work trains?

These are fabulous!...And, I'm not easily impressed.  The detail on these far exceeds that which I've seen on various brass import cabooses.  Too bad none of these are my road, or would ever have an excuse to appear on the U.P.

Fox Valley should be highly commended for their attention to detail and accuracy...which I do!

Now, if Fox Valley would do some western road cabooses...that'd be terrific!

Have had them on order with BLW for almost a year. FVM is telling me to expect delivery in December.
