In their October announcements, Walther's is finally doing some new N scale structure's. Both have recently been done in HO. One is the Donut shop  and the other is a new Coal Mine the Diamond Coal Corp Mine. HO is getting a new Grain Elevator I hope they do in N.

Finally, have been desperately waiting for that donut shop. Of all the structures they do in HO, that's the one

The coal mine would do well at a gravel quarry, though.

Agree, that well car would be nice to have in n scale.  So would the sulphur tanks...

I dunno. I think the donut shop is pretty good. Certainly can fill in some small real estate on a layout. Hopefully they can re-purpose at some point as a hot dog stand. I don't have a use for the coal mine but some have been asking for a new one. I sure hope they do the Prairie CO-OP elevator in N. Thos are still all over the place.....for now.

Aww. I've been waiting for that donut shop. Finally, an industry that can use all those sugar and flour hoppers I've been collecting. :ashat:

BTW, I think Randy's Donuts is the prototype for the Walthers model. A local icon, it has been seen in several movies and TV shows. A couple of disaster-in-L.A. movies used it with a CGI bite taken out of it.

Ha, that was my sentiment exactly.

Truthfully I don't really care.   Just happy to see them engaged in N, and it's "cute" so it will probably sell pretty good, which means more chances for stuff I want.

Ooooh MBTA F40PH... That must mean a rerun of the Comet II cars is around the corner. In HO :|

Isn't that the donut shop in the Simpsons?

The doughnut shop will allow realistic scenes with every police car on the layout parked at Randy's.

Except for the ones at Starbucks.
