Any update on availability of the 5th run of N cabooses? I placed an order over a year ago!

Craig, What is the build date going to be on the brown data only cars?

Nothing on this run for me, but I did just get one of the offset woodchip cars... a great little car and a smart way to get more miles out of the tooling. The fact that you can remove the side extensions is also of benefit, as the car can get pressed into stone service (which is why I love the offset so much, CN and CP did a good trade in stone trains into the late 80's).

More CN noodle and CP multimark offsets please!

B&A offset sides for me.  Been lobbying Craig for this ever since they first announced the model.

BLT date is 4-49. The reweigh date is 8-55.

The fifth group of cabooses (the Caboose-a-palooza as we've been calling it) is in production now.

Thanks Craig. Too bad - even with waivers and such they'd have to be in non-revenue service by my era.

Does anyone have any info on the OL&B hoppers?  The one picture I found online seemed to have a 1983 date on it.  My reference guide to "RR Officials" from 2nd Quarter 1972 says they own no freight cars.  If they owned these in 1974 I'd be tempted to buy one.

OLB is not listed in the 1973 register we have, but the cars are in the January 1976 one.

Then probably not in 1974.  Oh well.  Thank you, Paul!

Are the EL and WM hoppers still on the horizon?

Yes, we haven't forgotten them. This week we've been working on the cornfield project and the as yet un-announced follow up to the cornfield. Sometime after tomorrow we have another shipment from the factory arriving (HO cabooses.) Once that settles down, I'll be able to finish off the production art for the EL and WM group and we'll get those into production. It's been a busy month.
