Rapido's 10-5 office car specials in CR and CSX - CARS IN STOCK, NEED ZIP CODES

Eastern Seaboard Models has a relationship with Portman Hobbies.  As such, we are able to purchase the two Rapido exclusive-run 10-5 sleepers decorated for Conrail and CSX and offer them to Railwire members for $40 each.  Reservations are going quickly at Portman .. so if interested, orders must be in by noon EDT on September 15.  Send an email to Rapido-OCS@esmc.com with the Rapido item number desired (#504077 for the Conrail car, #504078 for the CSX car), and include your Railwire handle.  Maximum of one per scheme per member — so you can order either car or both cars, but not multiples of either.  The cars are due the last week of December, and probably will be in hand the first or second week of January.  Invoices will be sent via PayPal when the cars are received by ESM.

*** NOTE: should the ESM orders exceed the available quantity at Portman on the 15th, the shorted quantity will be sold based on chronological sequence of the orders, so don't delay if you want one or both of the cars.  This offer is open only to Railwire members. ***

UPDATE 2/16 — Spoke with Portman Hobbies today, the cars were shipped to ESM at the end of last week.  They should be here no later than Wednesday.  PayPal invoices will be sent as soon as the cars arrive, and cars will be shipped the next business day after payment is received.

Shipping will be the standard ESM actual USPS Priority rates.  Between $5 and $8 within the United States, and USPS Priority Mail International rates from New Jersey to the destination on foreign orders.

Cool announcement.. but this is where I prefer painting my own...

4 MFGs doing 4 portions of a train end up with 4 shades of a color on a train that was all painted at the same location with the same color and brand of paint.
