Question for Robbman: On ARMN/UP Reefers

Robbman, 

On the large 62' ARMN/UP cars there is a horizontal bar on the left side of the plug door on each side,
with markings "72 inches above floor when loaded...."

What is this?  My thought is it has something to do with loading indoors in those new fruit/veggie shipping centers...
