Question about PS2CD 4000 Hoppers

I have been looking at the Morning Sun Pullman Standard book and learning a bit about the PS2CD line of hoppers. Oñe of the early versions was the 4000 cf model designed for malt and barley among other comodities. It appears that the 4470 cf model soon became more popular. The book says the ATSF and L&N were early purchasers but little else is told. The back side of the BLMA 4000 cf model box says over 2000 were made; does this refer to the entire PS2CD line or to the 4000 cf series? If so then does anyone have a reference to who might gave purchased these? I gave 2 CSX repatches that are way too late for me and I want to repaint them.

The 2000 made refers just to the PS-2 4000. 

I don't know that I've seen a list of all the buyers but we do have Tangent, BLMA and Exactrail for some of it-

CBQ, NP, CGW, KCS, NKP, MILW, CNW, WS, SOU, WAB, NW, BN, ICG, SP, ATSF, ACL, SLSF, CO, RI, GN, MON, CSX, NAHX (Great Western Malting). 


The one I need the most is this one.

    note that the MN&S car is a 70 ton car.
   Puddington,
    it was the Full Side 4427 CD that superceeded the 4000 CD.
   but later some slightly different 4000 CDs were built for heavier commodities.
   best to check the date the cars were built as the Original 4000CDs weren't built
   too often after 1964.
   the 4427 was redesigned about 1966 to the short sided version,and was joined
  in the catalog by the 4740 CD,both were sold until about the end of 71.
   then the PS 4750 was added and eventually sold over 50,000 cars by 81 when
   Pullman had the Strike and shut down.
