There is also the KenRay models. They come in a 2-pack.
They are heavy pewter castings, and the details and proportions are a bit lacking, but at least they exist.

Ken Ray has one. Windows down, pre painted. Detail is a bit rough. I would rate it at a C. Period Miniatures/Alloy Forms had a kit. A bit hard to find now though. This it's a solid B. MZZ/Dmented also sells a pewter once price casting with the windshield up. This is a very nice casting and very clean. A solid A if you don't mind painting. There is also one by MiniFigs, but this is 1/148 and very large compared to the 1/160 version.

These are by far the best N-scale jeeps I have seen to date:

http://www.shapeways.com/model/2052600/jeep-willys-sans-bache-1-160.html?materialId=61

Too bad this maker doesn't do any other US military vehicles, but if you're into French military...

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the Shapeways ones as the detail looks
much better.
