Kato Sd40-2 Truck Assembly

One of the MRL SD40-2's took a dive to the floor.  Carpeted floor saved the day.  The rear truck came out and I am trying to reassemble.  How does the gear on the end of the drive shaft fit into the truck?  I cannot seem to get it seated correctly so that it turns the gear to the wheel sets.  Thanks. - Ross

Kato's  web site gives an excellent description on how to get it apart and back together. Basically you need to split the frame and then reassemble the truck and reinstall in the chassis. Bob.

Did Kato do an MRL run?

If they did, be only road number as the only SD40-2 MRL has is #250
