Santa Fe Switchers - Southern California in the late 80s-1991

Hi All,

I've tried looking on the internet (including the historical society), but can't seem to find the info I'm looking for.  Does anyone know what switcher locos the Santa Fe commonly used in San Diego during the late 80s up to about 1991?  I can find pictures of GP30-GP40-2s and SD40-45s hauling road freights, but I'm trying to get info on what would putter around the yard, or confirmation if the Geeps did that work as well.  Looking for a good model to use in N scale for yard switchers on my layout.  Thanks for advice on where to look or help answering the question from anyone!

CF7's mostly, maybe less so towards 1990.

Of course it has to be the CF7.  :x and me without a RTR CF7 in N scale.
