Just to add to the thread drift here...I prefer none, but...it's my business.  I photograph and draw lovely nude women when I'm not model railroading, shooting, riding my bike or spending time with the grandkids.

Very nice work!  To me she seems to have masculine facial features (yes I did notice her face).    I prefer more feminine faces.

This ought to raise some members eyebrows (and no, I'm not complaining at all).

Looks like my post got censored...which surprises me since in a previous post a while back, I was told that wasn't going to happen.  Ah well....it's art, a lot like model railroading and some think it's okay and others don't.

As to Tanesia, she isn't a "soft" girl, but very athletic.  I draw other girls also who are softer and more typically feminine, but aren't as fit.  Variety is the target, as well as being tasteful and non-blatant. 

As in model railroading, I am not "expressing myself" and my inner turmoil as an artist, but attempting to please the eye of the beholder and bring interest, beauty and a little excitement into this world...a lot like the fine brass engines that used to be a highlight of my model railroading buying experience, but which are nowadays such a rarity.

That's why I started this thread, because even though these engines aren't what I would buy for my layout, I was extremely impressed with them and happy that my son discovered them and made the decision to purchase them to run in U.P. territory.

Hey Bob, saw you've decided to let one of these engines go.  Any particular reason why?  I'm too in love with mine to let go of em, don't know when the opportunity would ever knock again to get them back.  I have two of the unskirted GS-2's, Daylight GS-4, and a GS-6.  Keeping a keen eye out for a GS-1.  Missed out on ebay recently when the auction was ended early.

Although these run on my layout in UP territory, they were purchased by my grown son, so it's my son who decided to let one of 'em go.  He purchased the last unskirted GS-2 that Brass Trains had, and thinks that a skirted one and an unskirted one is "enough".  If it were me, I'd have kept it, but I did take the photos for him.  Says, he "needs the money".  LOL!  I know how that is, but I've managed to keep all of the engines I really "want" and "need"!

He still regrets selling his MT-4 a year of so ago, which was a really good runner, and is keeping an eye out for one to replace it.

I keep an eye out for Key FEF-2's and Key UP and SP 2-8-0's...UP's with the little Vandy tender and SP's with the little whaleback tender.  I've got two of the U.P. Consolidations, which are great little runners and well-detailed, but I haven't won an SP version yet.

We attempt to limit ourselves to engines that ran either to or from Ogden between 1947 through 1956...which is why we have passed up several great buys and trades for late cab forwards.  Only earlier ones ran to Ogden.

Love that N-scale steam!

The auction didn't end early, it never happened. There was a buy it now choice, I missed that one also, saw it but the 'buy it now button' was landed on by a guy/girl who seems totally intent on getting SP steam at any price. The same buyer paid what I consider a ridiculous price for a MT4 in daylight trim, and a Mikado in SP markings.

Same seller has another MT-4 up for auction and while the first one went for $1125 the price for that one is over $1600!

I knew it was same seller, but I thought he ended the first auction early then re-listed it? Not that I'm able to afford that right now anyway...

No the first one was described as a 'valley daylight' #4346 and according to the research I have done this loco was never painted in Daylight colors, it was the class leader, if anyone knows otherwise and has photos to prove it please correct me. The one now is #4361 which is correct and is of a newer series by Key. The first #4346 (or the one I have) is a very smooth runner, I also have the #4361, it is still mint but is soon to loose its virgin status, then I will be in a position to comment on the running comparison.   

The seller has had some wheels of time SP cars for sale that are also bringing him some handsome returns thanks to this buyer, he seems to have very little limits on his wallet. Good for some, but he outbids me. I guess it is SP buying season on the bay.
