I've commissioned InterMountain to do a run of Western Maryland F3s - both road numbers. Only 50 of each will be made. No extra markup for the special run - discount if you buy both road numbers (pricing on the pdf). Delivery expected in December. The last WM F3s were produced over 30 years ago!

Please share with your friends, clubs, collectors..don't miss out!

Alex,

As a former resident of Winston-Salem and Lewisville, NC, welcome to the Railwire.  I don't model the Wild Mary, but I know a few guys here that do.

"Paging Lee Weldon and Sizemore.  Paging Lee Weldon and Sizemore."

Your efforts on this special run are appreciated.  I wish you the best of luck.

These will be in the fireball right?  How do we find them?

These will be nice, I've been following the threads on the Western Maryland YaScrew group. Unfortunately they are out of my era of 1968-1973 :x

Pretty confident Alex will sell most if not all the units as they would be a good addition to the IM release of the F-7's in Fireball.

As an FYI, I don't plan on doing these in Speedletter right now... too many body modifications for either the F3 or F7 body to be correct (though the F7 is closer).

Dave Foxx-thanks. Every blue moon I think I should model the WSSB since it's now local to me...then I think of how much time and energy I have in the H&F and WM (research, modeling, etc)...

Just as an FYI.   I know Alex -- he is an excellent modeler, and used to live in Brunswick Md. Alex has done special runs in the past.

Aha!  I used to model the WSSB when I lived in Winston-Salem.  I still have my book on the Southbound signed by the author, Jeff Miller, which I got when I was a member of the Southbound Model Railroaders club.

Sorry to hijack your thread.  Back to the show!

No worries Dave...I know Jeff, too. When I was looking for houses 7 years ago once place was nice and I got to talking to the guy next door. His father had been an engineer on the line. His back porch light was a lamp from one of the steam engines!

ps - thanks John for the endorsement! For anyone else unsure...I also handle raffle ticket sales for the N Scale Enthusiast (have for the better part of a decade) and they haven't fired me yet! :-)
