Model This! C&O 2-6-6-2 on the move... link heavy

It has been talked about for a while now on some of the prototype forums and has now become the talk of the town.  The issue: moving C&O 2-6-6-2 1309 to the Western Maryland Scenic, where it will be restored for operation.  As photos on the web shows, it was a monumental task, and not without trouble because of the need for an emergency application of the brakes, but the engine is now in Cumberland, Md., with unloading to take place tomorrow.  "Unloading?" you might ask?  Well, the steamer has been on display at the B&O RR Museum for several decades so moving it on its own 20-wheels simply would not be possible.  I guess that I first should share the links, including a couple interesting segment of video... presented in chronological order...

Now, let me ask since I am not up on modern equipment by any means, is there models of these types of cars available in N-scale?  It would be a great modeling project for a modern modeler to do, with about any type of articulated locomotive possibly being involved (can you imagine an Espee "Cab Forward" being moved to a restoration point?) so ideas about how to model something like this would be welcome.

Just wow , that could have dumped if there was a derailment . Good reason to knock down those trees now , bet they don't though .

I think de-weighting the loco by gutting and making a plastic frame to get the CG as low as possible would be advised . Wasn't there a white metal flat built by that English guy whose name escapes me at this senior moment .

I can't imagine the restoration work required for that thing. Will there be anything original left?
