In honor of throw back Thursday:

This is a scan of a photo taken by me in 1984 somewhere in northern Louisiana on the way back from a family trip to Arkansas.  Aside from the two ends of the SD40-2's, there's a grainy but clearly recognizable version of one of BLMA's recent KCS releases!

Almost but not quite.

I took these a few years ago and didn't get was I was looking at for a while.

It finally it occurred to me (not today, but a while back  :P) that it's a proto kit bash.  An old Standard Oil shed lifted onto concrete walls to make a building for dumping grain.

And a bonus photo for the BNFS guys.

This mess was parked in Springs the other day.

It really stood out as it seemed like we had been getting a lot of freshly painted units around here lately.

Just some pictures I took at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pa on a day trip. I am no photographer, so please bear with my mediocre pictures.

I was thinking the same.
Some kind of innovative 'Drive In'-Station?  :D

Better get your photos of those HHP8s while you can.  Only 4 or 5 left running.
