Great paint schemes on the shortline units.  It seems that all of them are former Amtrak units and that they kept their Amtrak numbers.  That restenciled-Conrail MTA scheme is one I haven't seen.  All the MTA schemes are too late for me, fortunately.

This is going to get expensive, but well worth it.  Thankfully the CONNDOT units are in a future release.  I used to see them all the time, so acquiring a pair of them are in the future plans.

Could that be the last passenger train on the line to Pittsfield?  I believe service ended in April, 1971.

I think that's about right as far as the date is concerned.

But guys and gals, before you pee your knickers from the excitement remember, you won't see there until 2020!  Yes, supposedly 18 months, but then there will be many unexpected delays in the Chinese factories.  Anybody remember the N scale Turbo Train?  Anybody wants to take bets (Kato Unitrack this time) as to when FL9's will actually show up?

Better to know than not even having any knowledge of intent I guess . Also it is better to pile on the manufactures than not . Maybe new or enlarged plants will fill the demand . Maybe there will be a market for blueberry flavored rice for salads .
