If you have 5:24:31 to kill, here's a cool cab ride video from Amtrak's Pennsylvanian in 1985 from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh.

By the way, the park in Newport where the CRHS Spring Rail-B-Qs are annually held can be seen somewhat at 40:36, and The Hard Hat can be found at 41:04.   ;)

And "the bridge" is at 41:47.

Cool vid!

You're right!  You can make out the bridge.  Which, of course, means the following occurred at the location seen at 41:51.

Damn, Conrail had a ton of SD40s and 40-2.  Think I only caught one GE.  Still have 2 hours to watch.

I hate to say it's cool because it's obviously beyond boring to the non-foamers... but that is so cool! Like the sequences going through Cresson and a few other areas that I've foamed.
Welcome to Ontario... we've got a tax for that.

I was re-watching Rich Clark's Conrail video yesterday with all the places I've visited over the last 6 years and still kicking myself in the a$$ for all the local action I missed coming out of Benning Yard...
