Magazine question

For any of you who subscribe to either N Scale or N Scale Railroading magazines - What condition do they usually arrive in from the Post Office?  Are they in an envelope or is there a label attached to the cover?  If labeled, does the label easily come off?

My Model Railroader and Trains magazines generally arrive in pretty good condition, but they are usually a little thicker than the N publications and I'm thinking perhaps less susceptible to bending and other damage.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

N Scale Mag comes in a clear plastic bag - no damage.  But MR Mag sometimes arrives a bit abused (since it is not in an envelope or a bag).
