DCC in a PCC?

I recently purchased one of Bachmann's Peter Witt trolleys in N scale, and would like to build a small traction layout. What I'm wondering is if anyone has ever converted one of the DC only PCC trolley to DCC. It looks like it would be a pretty big challenge since the frame itself is what carries power to the motor. Anybody have any ideas for this conversion?

Are you talking about the current run of Peter Witt trolley's? Both of mine came only with factory equipped DCC decoders.

The PCC's are the older line, the more streamlined ones, Martin...they look like the cars D. C. Transit used...

Yes, the PCC cars are very old, two piece chassis with power transmitted through the trucks, into the chassis and into the motor. Looks like it would be extremely difficult, and not even worth it, as they are not the best runners. My best bet for this seems to be replacing the entire chassis with one of the Kato motorized chassis. Just need to find one with the correct wheelbase.
