Found this on the web  While the FM unit is interesting what caught my eye was the grade on the spur in the background.  Anyone have any info on where this is and what the grade on that spur is?

Looks like the same scene that was reproduced in O scale for MR.

Canada Crushed Stone in Dundas, ON (now part of Hamilton).

Upper tracks at left are the loading tracks that connect to CN. Middle (where the train is) is obviously the CNR mains and siding. Lower track at right is a Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo Railway connection.

Not sure what the actual grade up the hill is, but the stone company had some industrial tracks up there basically like a little mine tram railway, with a little critter engine and custom stone dump cars.
The incline was I believe used to move the quarry equipment in and out for maintenance. Probably with a tow cable. Trains obviously would not have been able to shove cars up there.

Nothing in the photo except the double track CN main exists today.

Looks like the same scene that was reproduced in O scale for MR.

That was the Aberfoyle Junction Rwy., now the St. Jacobs and Aberfoyle Junction after being move to new digs.
